The fifth China International Import Expo kicked off in Shanghai on Nov 5. In line with the purpose of opening up and innovation ecology and promoting international cooperation,Ningbo Commercial & Trading group organized and coordinated the work, and appointed Shi Wei, general manager of China-Base Commercial & Trading (Zhejiang) Co., Ltd to lead the team to attend, in order to seek cooperation opportunities with potential customers and further optimize the structure of imported goods of the enterprise.
During the CIIE, CBCT signed 5 projects with a purchase amount of 90 million US dollars (including 40 million US dollars signed on the floor and 50 million US dollars signed off the floor).
The contract products cover meat, aquatic products, fruits and other categories, among which the purchase amount of salmon is 30 million dollars, pork is 30 million dollars, beef is 20 million dollars, nectarine, peach, cherries and other stone fruits are 10 million dollars.
The contracted projects of the Expo have opened up the direct supply channels for all kinds of imported main and non-staple foods, established the international supply chain system for some categories, and effectively expanded the delivery channels of vegetable basket goods, adding a strong color to the vegetable basket project of "stable supply and promote development" in Ningbo.
Since 2021, CBCT has signed a total of 1.09 billion US dollars of purchase orders through the CIIE platform, all of which have been effectively executed. In the future, it will gradually expand diversified procurement channels based on the existing platforms of China-Base Ningbo Group and Ningbo Commercial & Trading group, and further help to build a new development pattern of "double cycle" mutually promoting at home and abroad.
